Includes removing the tyre from the rim, an internal inspection, repair, balancing and refitting the wheel. Only safely repairable tread damage can be repaired. Before inspection, we agree any inspection charge that would apply if repair is not possible.

Reading tyre-pressure sensors and compatible programming or relearning. We check sensor type and compatibility first. New sensors, replacement labour and further diagnosis are quoted separately.

When is alignment needed?

Alignment is recommended when the car pulls, the steering wheel is off-centre, tyres wear unevenly or relevant suspension parts have been replaced.

What happens during four-wheel alignment?

Before adjustment, we check for tyre or suspension faults that could distort the result. Wheel angles are measured and adjustable values set to the vehicle requirements. Any repairs are agreed separately.

Seasonal wheel change, tyre fitting or balancing?

A seasonal change swaps complete wheels on your car. Tyre fitting means removing a tyre from its rim and fitting another. Balancing corrects the wheel’s weight distribution and vibration caused by imbalance. Fitting and balancing are not included in the seasonal wheel-change price.

Does the car vibrate or pull to one side?

Tell us whether vibration occurs while driving or braking, and at what speed. Mention knocking, pulling to one side or a crooked steering wheel. Balancing or alignment will not repair a brake or suspension fault.

What should I bring to a tyre appointment?

Bring the wheels and the correct bolts or nuts. If your car has locking wheel bolts, bring the key too. Mention a missing key, tyre-pressure warning or vibration when arranging the appointment.

A tyre-pressure warning may mean low pressure or a sensor fault. TPMS checks and programming start at €29 per car. Sensor replacement labour starts at €39 each, plus the sensor and valve parts. We check compatibility first. Sensor work is separate from a seasonal wheel change.

Can you align the wheels if the suspension has play?+

The worn part usually needs repairing first. Play can prevent accurate adjustment and change wheel angles while driving.

How long does a tyre appointment or alignment take?+

Duration depends on the agreed work, the vehicle and any repair needs. We confirm the appointment and estimated duration separately. A service request is not a confirmed booking.
